Brothers in art launches new site of The Black Eyed Peas

Tuesday June 7th 2005 - Today, the new media firm Brothers in art announced that in cooperation with Universal Music Group (USA), and damnBRAND (USA), they have launched the new international website of the wildly popular hip-hop group, The Black Eyed Peas.

damnBRAND, responsible for blackeyedpeas.com, approached Brothers in art due to the knowledge and experience that they have demonstrated in the territory of community-based websites. Brothers in art boast many years experience in the development of websites that offer visitors more than just passive viewing. "Their view matched perfectly with what we wanted to reach with the new website", quoted Ivan Arnold, CEO of damnBRAND.

The new website, which launched simultaneously with the release of the new Black Eyed Peas album, is setup as a community platform. "We are very satisfied with the launch of the new site", quoted Arno Drost, Creative Director of Brothers in art. "We welcomed 30,000 members in the first month, and most of them continue to visit the site on a daily basis, so we are very happy to see our concept working so well."

Visitors can register on the new website, and get their own internet address (yourname.blackeyedpeas.com) with which they can profile themselves, keep a personal weblog, and add pictures to their own photo gallery. Communication is the central focus, and the new website has both direct and indirect means of ensuring that goal is met. "The fans were especially surprised by the fact that the members of the Black Eyed Peas themselves regularly mix in discussions", noted Arno Drost.
